Zambo sting: P1M shabu netted

ZAMBOANGA CITY — The police here confiscated 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1 million during a buy-bust operation that resulted to the arrest of one Adzmin Jumad, alias Adz, 23, a resident of Barangay Putik.
City police chief P/Col. Rexmel Reyes said Culianan PS4 policemen conducted the drug sting at Barangay Mercedes Saturday afternoon with Jumad yielding three sachets of suspected shabu or poor man’s cocaine.
Also seized from the suspect possession were the P1,000 marked money, 99 pieces of P1,000 boodle money and one black Honda motorcycle.
Rexmel said that a case for violation of R.A. 9165, otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” will be filed against the suspect at the prosecutor’s office today.
