The occupancy rate of ICU beds for Covid-19 patients at Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) is now at 90 percent, said Pasay City Public Information Office head Jun Burgos on 14 August.
He added that there are only three regular Covid beds and three isolation beds available after the hospital noted that total occupancy for all Covid patients is at 72 percent.
“The emergency room (ER) is temporarily closed for both Covid and non-Covid patients. There are four Covid-positive patients in the isolation and triage areas, and three are being intubated,” the advisory said.
“We will open again once we have decongested and disinfected the area. Only Pasay residents will be accepted for admission for Covid and non-Covid cases.”
