COVID-19 infections prevalent in Cebu’s households

The Cebu City’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) identified households as the prime transmission area of COVID-19.
In a daily report by EOC Deputy Implementer and City Councilor Joel Garganera, it was revealed that household transmission contributed 271 cases in the last two days.
Workplace and supermarket trailed suit with 51 and 33 cases, successively.
Strolling and public market respectively followed the list.
Other types of places with public interactions such as gatherings and hospitals observed single digit cases.
As of today, Cebu City has 3,656 active cases, bringing the total to 32,199 accompanied by 1,000 fatalities.
