Tawi-Tawi, Lanao busts yield P7.48M shabu

Buy-bust operations in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi and Wao, Lanao del Sur have resulted to the arrest of three persons and the confiscation of suspected shabu with a street a value estimated at P7.48 million.
The drugs weighed 1,100 grams, police said.
Tawi-Tawi police chief P/Col. Bonard Briton said a buy-bust operation at Barangay Lamion netted the alleged peddler, one Galiba Hayudin, from whom a kilo of the substance was seized.
His uncle and alleged cohort Ibrahim Hayudini was able to elude arrest after sensing that they were dealing with a policeman poseur-buyer.
According to Briton, Hayudini bought shabu in Sabah, Malaysia and sold them in Tawi-Tawi and Sulu.
In Wao, Lanao del Sur, Zenaida Totingan Macalnas, alias “Jass;” and Lalano Macaalang, alias “Said Mocamad,” 22, were nabbed in a drug sting.
