Swimmer Remedy Rule bows out of the Tokyo Olympics after a 15th place finish at the Tokyo Aquatics Center on Wedneaday morning.

It’s the end of the line for Rule as she bombed out in the elimination round of the 100m butterfly event last Saturday.

Rule clocked in 2:12.89 minutes in the semifinals but it was not enough for her to book a spot in the finals as only the top eight of the competition are the only ones to advance.

Zhang Yufei of China topped the event after 2:04.89 minutes while American tanker Hali Flikinger (2:06.23 minutes) and Hungarian Boglarka Kapas (2:0623 minutes) placed second and third place, respectively.
