Police arrested an Indian national for alleged “sextortion,” during an entrapment operation in Antipolo City, Rizal.
Arrested was Gurmej Singh, 42, currently residing in the city, according to a report from the Rizal provincial police.
Lawmen from San Mateo town conducted the operation at a fast food outlet on Sunday afternoon.
Earlier, a 36-year-old woman sought police assistance, complaining that Singh had threatened to upload their sex videos on social media if she does not agree to have sex with him again.
The suspect also allegedly threatened to kill the woman and her children if she did not meet up with him.
Those harassment supposedly started when the woman decided to break up with the suspect last month, police said.
Operatives confiscated a cellphone from the suspect, who will be charged for grave threat (sextortion), grave coercion, the law against photo and video voyeurism, and the law against violence on women and their children.
