Phl’s Kaya FC vows to Vietnam’s Viettel in AFP Champions League

The nine-man Kaya FC ended their AFC Champions League campaign in a 0-1 defeat against Viettel FC of Vietnam this Sunday evening in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Filipino club managed to force a scoreless draw coming into the second half until Simone Rota and Masanari Omura got booked for red cards in the 53rd and 55th minute, respectively which trimmed down Kaya to nine men.

Brazilian striker Caique then managed to break the deadlock at the 56th minute after curling in a free-kick over the wall and into the top left corner.

The Vietnamese club managed to fire 30 shots with nine of them on target while Kaya only managed three shot attempts in the entire match.
