AiAi de las Alas releases 'Siomai (What?)' with Viva Records.

AiAi de las Alas is famous as a comedian, though she’s also an accomplished singer.

In 2003, she sang the official soundtrack of the Star Cinema blockbuster hit movie Ang Tanging Ina which she likewise starred in.

She recorded the tune “Si Manloloko” on Star Music in 2005, “Walang Pinipili” featuring Ex-Batallion in 2017, and an album, ADA: The EDM Diva in 2014.
But now she wants her new song to go viral.

COMEDIAN-SINGER AiAi de las Alas hopes that her new song will go viral.

Dubbed the Comedy Concert Queen, AiAi is known for her novelty tunes — even if none of them has become a hit. She hopes the latest track she has recorded on Viva will do the trick.
The song, “Siomai (What?),” is about her love for Asian dumplings.

In an online media conference, AiAi said, “Why not? The truth is, I love siomai and I think I’m not the only one. A lot of Filipinos love it. Many can relate to the song.”

The song has rap lines which AiAi likewise did: “Fried man or steamed, basta merong toyo, kalamansi saka sili para medyo may anghang, para ’pag kinain ‘to mas malinamnam.”
“Siomai (What?)” has a colorful, funny music video and TikTok-worthy choreography.

“Siomai (What?)” streams on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music.

AiAi is currently in US gearing up for her concert “Ai’m Back” on 2 July 7 p.m. to be held at D’Haven Queens, New York.
