Chinese ‘drug peddler’, nakorner sa Cagayan buy-bust

Arestado ang isang 38-anyos na Chinese businessman, na umano’y nahulihan ng P75,000 halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa buy-bust operation ng magkakasanib-puwersang operatiba sa Sta Ana, Cagayan.
Kinilala ni Police Regional Office (PRO)-2 Director Brig. Gen. Crizaldoc Nieves ang inaresto na si Lijun Cao, may asawa, tubong Guangzhou, China, at residente ng Barangay Visitation, Sta. Ana, Cagayan.
Ayon sa pulisya, dinakip nila si Cao nang mag-abot ito ng anim na heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu sa pulis na poseur buyer.
Sa report kay Gen. Nieves, nakasaad na nakumpiskahan pa umano si Cao ng 27 pang heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet na may hinihinalang shabu, na nagkakahalaga ng P75,000, isang itim na Huawei Matte 30 cell phone, at isang puting Toyota Rush (A8 P332).
Dinala ang suspek at ang mga ebidensiyang nasamsam umano mula sa kanya sa Sta. Ana Police station, habang inihahanda ang kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 ng Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
Ang operasyon ay ikinasa ng mga operatiba ng Provincial Intelligence Unit, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ng Cagayan Police Provincial Office, Provincial Drug Enforcement Group Special Operation Unit 2 (PDEG SOU 2), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Region 2, Batanes Police Office, at Sta. Ana Police, ayon kay Gen. Nieves.
