“Everybody’s welcome!” said Julie Anne San Jose at the virtual media conference to promote GMA Network’s 71st anniversary celebration on variety show All Out Sundays on 13 June.
Julie, a Kapuso talent and AOS mainstay, was referring to John Lloyd Cruz and Pokwang, GMA’s new addition to its roster of stars.
Christian Bautista, another AOS regular and former ABS-CBN talent like John Lloyd, said: “GMA welcomed me and I want to do the same for the others.
The 39-year-old singer, whom AOS stars consider their mentor in the show, is now on his eight year with GMA.
Christian expressed excitement over the special AOS episode tomorrow, which Dingdong Dantes, Heart Evangelista, Jennylyn Mercado, Lovi Poe and other Kapuso stars will grace.
GMA News anchors Mel Tiangco, Mike Enriquez, Vicky Morales, Arnold Clavio, Howie Severino and Jessica Soho will also join the fun.
The special episode marks the show’s commitment to provide worthwhile entertainment to viewers amid the pandemic.
“Every artist in the show wants one thing: to entertain Filipinos all the time,” Kapuso talent Barbie Forteza said.
She added that AOS, despite being a young show, has inspired all Kapuso artists to carry on with their objective. For instance, she learned how to perform well on the dance floor, something which she never knew she could.
Ruru Madrid said he was pushed beyond his limits in a good way when he joined the show: “Through AOS, I found out I have other talents.”
The celebration of GMA’s 71st anniversary with its stars airs on All Out Sundays at 12 noon on GMA. Fans abroad can watch it on GMA Pinoy TV.
