Magnitude 5.1 rocks Davao Occidental

A magnitude 5.1 rocked Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental at 10:42 a.m. today, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Phivolcs added that the earthquake with a depth of 61 kilometers was recorded 68 kilometers south 76 degrees east of Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.

Intensity III was recorded in Malungon, Sarangani; intensity II in General Santos City; Malita, Davao Occidental; Alabel and Kiamba, Sarangani.

While Intensity I was felt in Koronadal City, South Cotabato
