Francis “Duckeyyy” Glindro of Bren Esports will coach the Mobile Legends Philippine national team for the upcoming 2021 Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam, a reliable source told Daily Tribune.

The respected Mobile Legends coach is responsible for leading Bren Esports to its M2 World Championship earlier this year and the MPL Season 6 title. Prior to his coaching stint with Bren Esports, Duckeyyy also made his mark in the competitive esports scene of Indonesia.

His team, composed of Pheww, Ribo, KarlTzy, FlapTzy, and Lusty, is currently laser-focused on the MPL Season 7 playoffs, where they are set to duke it out in the upper bracket against Blacklist International on May 27 at 6:00 PM.

Ralph “Leathergoods” Llabres, meanwhile, will coach the League of Legends: Wild Rift national team.

Leathergoods has been with Bren from the beginning and is a former professional player for Arena of Valor. As Bren’s head coach, Leathergoods helped establish the company’s pro teams for other titles such as Valorant, DOTA 2, and Tekken.
