Retired football superstar David Beckham is beyond ecstatic over his venture into the eSports world.

In an interview with TN25, the former Manchester United midfielder even went as far as stating that owning an eSports team is more exciting than anything he has done.

“I heard about eSports quite a while ago, and I really started taking it seriously when my kids started talking to me about it,” said Beckham.

“The excitement around me owning my own eSports team is more than anything I’ve ever probably done in my career, to be honest.”

Beckham, a father of four, also roasted his kids for raging when they play video games.

“When I mentioned to them the other day, ‘You know there’s going to be an academy, so you can maybe learn how to play a little bit better than you’re actually playing because you’re always shouting at the screen.’”
