After days of teasing on social media, 5v5 first-person shooter Valorant has finally released its newest game mode named Replication.
“Replication asks you to push the extremes of what Agent abilities can do in a round,” Riot Games wrote in an update.
“Think of what you can do with five Sage walls? A team of Phoenix can basically make the floor is lava if you cover it with fire. Don’t worry, this mode comes with a “flashguard” so you won’t have to play with sunglasses.”

All five players on the same team will play the same agent that was selected in pre-match voting. They will compete in a best-of-nine spike mode where all abilities are refreshed each round except ultimates.
Weapons and shields are also reset each round, while being flashed twice in a 4-second window would grant a 5-second flash-guard to the player.
Replication has replaced Breeze game mode and will run until May 25.
