Good coffee always gets a drinker going whether it’s from the first sip in the morning or those afternoon coffee breaks. There’s just something about caffeine that gives coffee lovers life and the ability to conquer the day with an active mind.
Nespresso channels their effect on people to create something that would impact the world by inviting filmmakers to join their global competition, Nespresso Talents 2021, and produce short films in vertical format.
“Nespresso is more than just good coffee — it’s an advocacy to impact the world positively through our platforms. Film is yet another channel to further our commitment to sustainability,” Fabio de Gregorio, Nespresso Asia regional business head, said.
Nespresso Talents opens its sixth installment with the theme “Doing is everything.” They have partnered with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, De La Salle University and Edukasyon.ph once more to make this project possible.
Filmmakers may submit their entries on nespresso.com/talents/ph/en/contest. The shorts should be in vertical format or 9:16 ratio with the length of two minutes minimum and three minutes maximum. Those who wish to participate have until 16 May.
The categories are National and International wherein three finalists from the National category will automatically compete in the International category.
The three finalists from the National category will win the following: 1,500 EUR for the first talent, 1,000 EUR for the second talent and 500 EUR for the third talent. All with Nespresso machines and complimentary capsules as well as a well-deserved trophy.
If that is not enough, the people behind Nespresso Talents will also give back to mother Earth through their collaboration with PUR Project where each contestant will have five trees planted in their names.
