New Taiwanese Series announced

A brand-new HBO Asia Original Taiwan series Trinity of Shadows has been announced.
The 15-part, hour-long crime drama series will premiere with two back-to-back episodes every Sunday at 9 p.m. from 13 June on HBO Go and HBO in the Philippines. The series is co-presented by WarnerMedia and HKTVE with Catchplay.

Award-winning trio of Taiwanese actors namely Kaiser Chuang, Sandrine Pinna and Kuan-Ting Liu lead the cast of Trinity of Shadows. The said actors are household names at Taiwan’s Golden Bell and Golden Horse awards as well as on the film festival circuit. The series also introduces Stanley Yau who is a member of MIRROR, the latest pop sensation from Hong Kong.
Trinity of Shadows is about a murder that has similarities to a case three years ago. Lead detective (Pinna) together with up-and-coming public official (Chuang) and rookie policeman (Liu) delve into the dark labyrinth of power play.
Trinity of Shadows is produced by David Tang (Dad’s Suit, The Long Goodbye and Who Killed Cock Robin?) and directed by Bo-Hao Hong (Dad’s Suit, Wake Up S2). Screenwriter is Chien-Ming Huang (Scoundrels, Wake Up).
WarnerMedia and Catchplay previously co -presented the Golden Bell winning series The World Between Us in 2019 which is a ten-part hour-long show that follows the aftermath of a mass-shooting where the killer, the victims, victims’ families, media and the defense teams are all intertwined.
