Alleged drug peddlers fall

The illegal drugs have an estimated total street value of P1,496,000



ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — The Pampanga Police has captured two drug peddlers and their cohort in a drug-bust operation in Barangay Pandan here on Saturday.

In a statement, Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) chief PCol. Rommel Batangan said that the joint elements of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, Police Station 4 and Police Station 3 conducted buy bust operation along Luzon Street Barangay Pandan.

The arrested suspects were identified as Abdul Rauf Salic alias Abdul and Mansawi Sindab, both regarded as high value targets and their cohort Peterson Feliciano.

The police confiscated two plastic bag containing suspected shabu and a heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, with a total weight of 220 grams.

The illegal drugs have an estimated total street value of P1,496,000.

Batangan said that Mansawi was previously arrested in 2017 for Republic Act (RA) 9165 but was later dismissed while Abdul was also arrested in 2018 but was released through a plea bargain agreement.

The three suspects will be charged for Violation of Sec 5 in relation to Section 26 and Section 11 Art II of RA 9165.
