201 kaso ng COVID-19 naitala sa MRT

Umakyat na sa 201 ang mga personnel ng Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) ang nagpositibo sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19), ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) ngayong 23 Abril.
Ito’y matapos na madagdagan ng 21 empleyado ang tinamaan ng COVID-19 mula sa 180 kaso noong 21 Abril.
Idinagdag ng DOTr na katumbas ito ng anima na porsiyento ng kabuuang 3,284 personnel ng MRT-3.
Sinabi ni Michael Capati, Director for Operation ng MRT-3, nasa 30 hanggang 50 porsiyento lamang ng mga empleyado ang nasa on-site para tiyakin ang maaayos na pagpapatakbo ng MRT-3.
Idinagdag ni Capati na pawang mga nagnegatibo sa pinakahuling swab test ang mga nakatalagang personnel.
Samantalang, naka-work from home naman ang iba pang personnel, ayon pa kay Capati.
Tiniyak ng Capati na mahigpit na pinatutupad ang health protocol sa MRT-3.
Sa kasalukuyan, umiiral ang 30 porsiyentong passenger capacity ng MRT-3. Ito’y katumbas ng 372 pasahero na maaaring sumakay kada biyahe. (Lovelyn B. Cabusao-intern)
