Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina came through with sub-par scores Thursday, but missed the cut at the Lotte Championship in Oahu, Hawaii.
Pagdanganan, 23, rallied with four-under par 68 to finish 36 holes on even par 144, three shots below the projected cut.
Bouncing back from an opening 74 Wednesday, Pagdanganan birdied the first two holes, but bogeyed a pair of par-3 holes that broke her momentum in the front nine which she finished on one-under.
She added three more birdies coming home to finish 36 holes on even par 144, two shots above the projected cut line.
Pagdanganan, the LPGA Tour’s longest hitter last season, averaged 305 yards off the tee, missing only two fairways. She, however, reached only 13 of 18 greens.
She has now played two full LPGA events without making the cut.
Ardina, who opened with a 73, made four birdies against two bogeys to shoot a 70 for 1-over 145.
She missed half of 14 fairways and reached only 13 of 18 greens.
The exit of Pagdanganan and Ardina left Yuka Saso as the only Filipina in the field.
Saso blitzed the Kapolei Golf Club with her second straight 64 to seize the solo lead on 16-under 128, two shots ahead of former world No. 1 Lydia Ko who shot a tournament-best 63 Thursday.
