You can now play Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 for free on your web browser.
The popular real-time strategy game from Westwood Studios that first came out in October 2020, allows players to control two factions Soviet or Allies at war.
Though the Campaign or Skirmish mode is unplayable, the browser-based Red Alert 2 gives you a multiplayer function that allows gamers from all over the world to play with it each other.
All you have to do to play a game is to go to ‘Custom Match’ on the main screen, create a username and password, then you will be directed to all the game lobbies available online.
It is unclear who made the port to a web browser or if it will stay there due to copyright infringement issues it may face.
Whatever the case is, the game is sure to Command & Conquer fans a nostalgic experience for as long as it lasts.
