4 fall in QC drug sting

The “Number 8” priority target of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) together with three other suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Galas Police Station (PS 11) on Wednesday in Quezon City.

The NCRPO identified the suspects Marites Lichauco, 51 years old from Barangay San Isidro, Galas, Quezon City; while her cohorts were named as Kenneth Parejas, 26 years old, and a resident of Barangay Santol, Quezon City; Alfred Cariaso, 29 years old, and a resident of Barangay San Isidro in Galas, Quezon City; and Jaycee Beltran, 26 years old, and a resident of Kasiglahan Village in Montalban, Rizal.

Based on the report, they were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by PS 11 operatives at about 8:20 in the evening of 7 April 2021 at Baloy Street in Barangay Santol, Quezon City.

Aside from the buy-bust money, also seized were seven sachets said to conyain suspected shabu valued at P13,600.

Authorities said the arrested suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
