Thirteen teens have recently joined ABS-CBN’s talent pool Star Magic.
Head of Star Magic Lauren Dyogi did not waste time in finding fresh stars for the network’s premier talent agency.
In a virtual event on 2 March, 13 promising teens were officially added to Star Magic’s pool of artists. They were welcomed by the original Gold Squad members Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri.

Kadenang Ginto lead actor Francine Diaz couldn’t help but feel nostalgic of her early days as an artist of Star Magic. She recalled, “Back then, I feel so nervous just by hearing the words Gold Squad. I was even shouting backstage.”
Francine eventually learned how to overcome them. She took a leap of faith and is blessed to be where she is now.
“My advice to these artists is, don’t be nervous. Just enjoy,” Francine said.
First to be introduced as the newest members of Star Magic were Anji Salvacion, KD Estrada, Sam Cruz and Angela Ken Roxas. Roxas also inked a deal with Star Music.

Star Magic also introduced Angelica Lao, Danica Ontengco, Analain Salvador, Keann Johnson, Nio Tria and Senator Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son, Jimuel Pacquiao.
Dyogi said that while he wants the artists to enjoy their youth and the entertainment industry, they mustn’t forget the responsibility that comes with being a celebrity.
He said, “Be responsible to our audience. You’re not just there to entertain them. Be good role models.”
Viewers will get to watch the 13 artists shine soon on Dreamscape shows, Dyogi added.
“We expect that you’ll act properly, grow and be the best artists that you can be,” he concluded.
