Telecommunications company Smart Communications tapped Hollywood actor Chris Evans as its newest ambassador.
Evans, known for his role as Captain America in Marvel’s highest-grossing superhero film franchise ‘The Avengers’, will serve as the face the local telco’s “Live Smarter for a Better World” 2021 campaign.
Evans starred in a two-minute video of the campaign directed by Pascal Heiduk launched Thursday. It trended on social media with no less than PLDT-Smart Chairman Manny Pangilinan being the first to retweet the advertisement video.
“We’re truly honored to collaborate with Chris on this project. He captivated the world for being a hero not just in film but also in real life by using his influence to help shape a better world for all,” Jane Basas, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart, stated.
“By lending his star power and appeal to support our campaign, we hope to inspire more people to bring out the hero within them and unleash their own power to help change the world — one positive action at a time,” she added.
Smart’s “Live Smarter for a Better World” campaign aims to inspire people to commit to sustainable actions, give positive impact on society and ignite their passion to help change the world for the better.
