It’s a double celebration for hotel heiress, fashion mogul and socialite Paris Hilton as she celebrates not only her 40th birthday but also her engagement to boyfriend Carter Reum.
“This past year with Covid has accelerated so many things. As someone who traveled constantly, I had a chance to stay home and reevaluate what was important to me. My relationship and the time I spent with Carter was a gift. I’m excited for our next chapter,” Paris told People.
Paris and Carter have been dating for a year. They were first spotted together at the InStyle and Warner Bros party.
Carter is a tech startup entrepreneur and investor and is part of Gwyneth Paltrow’s circle of friends.
The two have been very public about their relationship from the start. Fans are witnesses to how the couple celebrates each other through social media posts with lovey-dovey captions. One example is Paris’ emotional post on their one-year anniversary.
“I love that we celebrate our love every month! I can’t believe it’s only been a year. It feels like I’ve been with you a lifetime! I have never felt so close to another person in my life. And that’s because you’re the first one who tore down than walls I built around my heart and opened up my heart in a way that I didn’t know was possible,” Paris’ post said in part.
Carter reportedly spent $1 million on a custom engagement ring for his future bride.
