Manila Police District (MPD) homicide investigators are still clueless on the killing of two friends — a woman and a gay man — who were shot dead by unidentified assailants on Saturday afternoon at Baseco seaside in Port Area, Manila.

P/Capt. Henry Navarro of the MPD-Homicide Section identified the victims as Leif Erickson Parama, 29, a resident of Block 2 Baseco, and alias “Jennifer Legazpi.” not a resident, who sustained bullet wounds to their bodies.

Based on the investigation conducted by P/MSG Dennis Suba, the incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. at the seawall at Block 8 in Barangay 649, Zone 68.

The victims were found lifeless and bloodied on the concrete pavement by Mariel Ramirez, who was the barangay tanod on duty.

Parama was hit at the right arm, stomach, right thigh and had two bullets on the back, while Legazpi bore a bullet wound near the right ear that caused her instant death.

Police have not found any information in connection with the killings.

Meanwhile, Gerardo Parama, 55, Parama’s father, said he has no idea for the motive of the killing, as he knew his son and his friend had no enemies.
