11 rebels in Central Luzon surrender

Jonas ReyesCITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- Eleven members of the New People’s Army surrendered to authorities in Central Luzon on Friday.
PNP Region 3 director, Brig. General Valeriano De Leon said the 11 also yielded firearms including M14 rifle, magazines and 30 rounds live ammunition; M16 rifle with defaced SN with one magazine and nine live ammunition; three caliber .38 revolver with only one with serial number and four empty shells of cal .38 ammunition; a book entitled 12-Puntong Programa ng Pambansang Demokratikong Prente ng Pilipinas and other CTG reading materials; two Bandoliers; a barrel of Payless instant noodles and rice in a 30 litters container.
The 11 surrenderers will be endorsed to avail of government’s assistance program for returnees, the Enhanced Compresensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
