With her colorful and dramatic career, volleybelle Sisi Rondina has been an inspiration to various merchandise by which her fans best remember their hero.

From game-worn uniforms to autographed caps and even to personalized sweatshirts with her jersey number stamped on them, her supporters have seen it all.

But some of Rondina’s supporters are no ordinary.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Jake Rondina flaunted a golden boat inspired by the volleyball star who was dubbed the queen of sands with her four UAAP Beach Volleyball MVP plums.

Yeheeeyyy!!! Thank you yoyo ❤️ inspired by UST 💛

Jake, who works as a designer and painter, came up with an adorable UST-inspired boat with a “Golden Tigresses” written on the side.

Of course, to better honor the Cebuana hotshot, Jake had also put on her iconic jersey number #16 on it.

Even Sisi herself was captivated by the golden canoe.

“Yehey! Thank you Yoyo (a Bisaya term for uncle),” posted Sisi as she shared the post on her FB account.

“Inspired by UST,” she added and coupled it with a yellow heart.

As of now, as much as everybody else, the 24-year-old Sisi is awaiting the resumption of volleyball which was indefinitely put to a halt by the COVID-19.

Prior to the pandemic, the 5-foot-6 spiker was tipped to suit up for Creamline as part of Rebisco’s bid to boost the country’s beach volleyball campaign.

She is joined by longtime sands and indoor volleyball teammate Bernadeth Pons.
