GMA Network’s first
Filipino-Korean romantic comedy series, My Korean Jagiya, returns to GMA Telebabad starting 23 November.

In the series, Heart Evangelista plays Gia, a grade school tutor and a hopeless romantic who is often teased to become an old maid. She is also a self-confessed K-Drama fan girl determined to meet her long-time crush, Korean superstar Kim Jun Ho.

But Kim Jun Ho — portrayed by Korean actor and former U-KISS member Alexander Lee — mysteriously steps out out of the limelight at the height of his career.
An unfortunate incident brings Gia and Jun Ho together and they become friends.

Heart said: “I’m happy because what we worked hard for and what we enjoyed doing before, we can watch and experience again.”

Alexander added: “I believe that this is the perfect time to watch My Korean Jagiya again… It could put a smile on people’s faces and perhaps give them some comfort and happiness…”
Also in the cast are Janice De Belen, Ricky Davao, Iya Villania-Arellano, Edgar Allan Guzman and Valeen Montenegro, Frances Makil-Ignacio, Myke Solomon, Jinri Park, Divine Aucina, and Khane Dela Cruz, with the special participation of Korean stars David Kim, Michelle Oh, and Jerry Lee.

Mark Reyes directs.

My Korean Jagiya was partly shot in Nami Island, Namsan Park, Love Padlocks at N Seoul Tower, and Daejanggeum Park.
