Timely aid for child learning center

In line with the goal to alleviate lives of led-fortunate children with special needs in the country, Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte recently extended assistance to Catotal Home for Child Therapy and Learning Center in Davao City.

Upon learning that the center is using only fabricated cement stove – which is seen as hazardous — the lawmaker immediately sent induction stoves with cookware set was delivered to the learning center.

The Davao City representative noted that the induction stoves will be safer for kids as it will prevent any burns and it has timer to automatically shut off for safety measures.

The Catotal Home for Child Therapy and Learning Center is giving services to children with special needs specially children with autism and downs syndrome, among others.

“We are very thankful to Rep. Duterte for being a kind-hearted person. This is a big help to our center and the will be safer for children in our center. We can also teach children here how to cook their desire meals and learn more in cooking or baking,” said center owner Wenoli Miranda Guerrero.

The first district congressman is known not only in his district but to Davao-wide in assisting the less fortunate especially children.

“I took oath to be a help not only to Davao but to the whole country. With the help of my colleagues in Congress, we will study every possible laws that will be a great help to our fellow countrymen,” said Duterte.
