EXO’s Baekhyun’s solo projects now include Japan, where he has recorded a self-titled album.

Following the success of his Korean solo albums, the K-Pop superstar has a new Japanese-release, six-track record that will drop on 20 January 2021: “Get You Alone,” “Addicted,” “WHIPPIN’,” “Drown,” “Disappeared” and “Stars.”

Each song, all said to represent different sides of Baekhyun, will have a limited-edition sleeve that comes with special photo cards, posters and lyric booklets.

In 2019, Baekhyun released his first solo EP, City Lights, with the title track “UN Village.” It won the Bonsang Award at the 34th Golden Disc Awards.

He later on released his second EP, Delight, with its lead single “Candy” topping charts. The track was nominated as Song of the Year at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

EXO previously released its first Japanese studio album COUNTDOWN on 31 January 2018. It was produced by Japanese record label Avex Trax.
