Cameroonian shot dead

A Cameroon national died after being shot by a still unidentified assailant in Pasay City early Tuesday.
Divine Njua Komfun, 47, succumbed to a bullet wound to the head, according to a report from the Southern Police District of the Philippine National Police.
The incident occurred in front of a convenience store at the corner of Arnaiz Street and the service road of Roxas Boulevard in Barangay 13 at around 12:15 a.m.
Komfun, currently residing in Parañaque City, was walking toward the service road when he was shot.
The gunman, who was wearing a jacket and mask, quickly fled aboard a vehicle parked nearby, police said.
Investigators are still trying to determine the assailant’s identity, whereabouts and motive.
