CLARK — The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) reported that the second suspected COVID-19 case yielded negative results in the antigen and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction tests (RT-PCR).
The league announced Monday morning that the player from Blackwater, who initially tested positive and sent for isolation in Capas, Tarlac, has yielded negative results in the RT PCR test conducted Sunday.
The said player also tested negative in the antigen procedure done earlier.
“The PBA bubble remains intact and has not been breached. Nevertheless, we urge all participants to be extra cautious and strictly follow the protocols set for them inside the bubble,” PBA said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the referee who was reported as the first suspected case has also yielded negative results from both procedures, but remains in isolation.
