Typhoon ‘Pepito’ has exited the Philippine area of responsibility or PAR yesterday but its trough is causing rains in the western portion of Luzon today, according to PAGASA.
The trough is forecast to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.
Wind and coastal water condition in extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong and moderate to rough, respectively. The rest of the country will have light to moderate rainshower.
The highest temperature for the day is 32.2 degrees Celsius at 3 p.m. while the minimum temperature is 25.8 at 5 a.m.
Meanwhile, a low pressure area or LPA is 1,145 kilometers east of Mindanao and may enter the PAR today. The LPA may intensify into a tropical depression.
