Pasig COVID-19 cases drop to less than 400

The number of active coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Pasig City has dropped to just below 400 in less than two months, Mayor Vico Sotto said on Saturday.
From a peak of over 2,284 active cases recorded on 31 August, it is down to 360 as of 16 October.
“Pero mas lalo pa tayong mag-ingat para tuluyan nang bumaba ang bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19,” Sotto said in social media post.
“Paiigtingin pa natin ang response ng lokal na pamahalaan hanggang matapos ang pandemyang ito,” the mayor added.
As of 15 October, Pasig City recorded a total of 360 active cases out of the total 7,474 confirmed cases.
Meanwhile, the number of patients who have recovered are at 6,797, while a total of 317 have died.
