POC polls, ipopostpone?

“There’s no way for us to go to Manila just for their political ambitions,” saad ni Puentevella, na stranded din ngayon sa Bacolod.

“For an election exercise to be effective, it needs the involvement of all members. Since most of us are stranded in our respective provinces, it would be impossible for us to cast our votes,” dagdag niya.

“Why are we in a hurry to expose our voting members to this unhealthy situation? Let us not endanger the lives of our members, some of who are even in their eighties. What’s the hurry?” sabi ni Puentevella. “We are in a pandemic. Our health is more important than any elective position.”

“I pray that the POC board will find this proposal meritorious and I thank them. Anyway, they can enjoy the additional months to retain their positions. This will benefit them,” dagdag niya.
