CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has placed Camp Olivas under lock down for the disinfection of the facilities after 19 people tested positive for the Corona virus disease (Covid-19).
According to Police Regional Director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia, there are 18 personnel and 1 civilian who have contracted the dreaded respiratory disease who are mostly asymptomatic.
“Our personnel including the civilian who have tested positive are now placed on strict quarantine and monitoring and are immediately transferred to our quarantine facility. We are also establishing the contact tracing including all our Police and Non-uniformed personnel inside the camp as well as the families of those infected,” Sermonia added.
The regional director has already ordered the contact tracing and swabbing of all personnel who were inside the camp the past week. The Regional Health Service have conducted preliminary tests to personnel who are suspected to be infected with the virus.
