The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested two Nigerians in Imus, Cavite last Wednesday.
The suspects were identified as Samuel Chukwuemer Duruibe and Mmaduamaka Vitus Okoli.
They were arrested by operatives of the NBI-Task Force Against Illegal Drugs (NBI-TFAID) based on a search warrant, in Montefaro village in Imus City. They yielded 181 grams of suspected shabu.
It was in October of 2019 when the NBI-TFAID received information about the illegal activities of Duruibe, who reportedly a member of the West African Drug Syndicate (WADS) operating in the Philippines.
Duruibe was previously arrested by NBI-Manila sometime in 2014 through a buy-bust operation, and yielded two kilos of shabu. He was then on a provisional liberty after being granted to post bail amounting to P500,000.
