TELUS International Philippines (TIP) grant-giving body, the TIP Community Board, is accepting a second batch of grant applications for 2020.
Distributing a total of US$100,000 in grants annually, the TIP Community Board supports grassroots causes and innovative ideas that positively impact the community in the areas of health, environment, and education.
In 2019, the TIP Community Board supported a total of 12 NGOs, benefitting over 6,000 Filipinos, including public school students, community-based beneficiaries, underprivileged women, and survivors of human trafficking in seven provinces in the country.
As the leading BPO company in the country, TELUS International Philippines is especially looking to help organizations geared towards helping those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The impact of the pandemic is unprecedented. We recognize the need to continue and strengthen the support from the TIP Community Board as we look to help other organizations and groups with deserving initiatives in health and education, as well as initiatives geared to support countrymen affected by COVID-19,” said TIP CSR head Phoebelyn Carrera.
