A Philippine Air Force (PAF) Huey helicopter crashed in San Fermin, Cauayan City, Isabela killing two of its five-man crew Thursday night.
The PAF public affairs office reported the crash of the helicopter from the Tactical Helicopter Wing.
According to the report, the Huey took off for NVG Proficiency Training at Tactical Operations Group 2 (TOG2) in Cauayan Air Station at 7 p.m. when all of a sudden it accidentally crashed and fell at the ramped area of TOG2.
The report also indicated that the helicopter with tail number 8308 of TOG2 while taking off at about 7:00 PM when all of a sudden accidentally crashed and fell at the ramped area of TOG2. As a result, riders accounted as follows:
There were two visible bodies inside the chopper and 2 others were missing while one crew was found injured. The latter was rushed by the rescue 922 at IUDMC for immediate treatmet.
The names of the crew were not immediately available.
