The Metropolitan Trial Court has ordered to be placed under a lockdown MTC Branch 30 and MTC office of the Clerk of Court.
This was based on the memorandum order signed by Executive Judge Carissa Anne Manook-Frondozo.
The lockdown for MTC Branch 30 located at Manila City Hall started yesterday, 13 July, and will end on 24 July.
On the other hand, the MTC Office of the Clerk of Court, which is located at Parkview Plaza, started yesterday and will be in effect until 22 July.
All employees of the affected MTC offices shall undergo the mandatory 14-day self-quarantine. Anyone who will exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 has been told to have a medical checkup at the nearest barangay health center or their personal doctor
While the said offices are closed, all public transactions may continue using video conferencing, while the filing of pleadings and application for bail may be done electronically via e-mail.
These offices will be closed to give way for disinfection activity that will be done by the Manila Health Department.
