The Quezon City Police District inspected Thursday three border control points (BCP) to ensure that personnel manning the areas are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE).
QCPD Director BGeneral Ronnie Montejo was joined by deputy director for operations Col. Enrico Vargas.
“While we need to perform our duties and responsibilities to provide frontline public safety services, the health and safety of our personnel is also given utmost concern to protect them and their families from the dreaded Covid-19,” Montejo said.
The three main QC BCPs inspected were at Payatas Road, Petron, Brgy. Payatas; San Mateo Road Bridge, Batasan Hills; and NLEX Brgy. Balonbato, northbound.
Montejo called on the public’s cooperation and discipline while appealing to everyone to stay at home as much as possible.
