The Pasig City government will shoulder cremation services of residents who died due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

For non-Covid deaths, families are assured of burial assistance through the local government’s “Project Damayan,” Sotto said.

“Kung kailangan naman ng sertipikasyon na non-COVID, may naka-duty tayong doktor sa mga SuperHealth Center, 24/7,” he said.

As of 7 April, Pasig has 140 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 22 deaths and 28 recoveries.

Relatives of Covid-related casualties may call 8-643-0000 to avail of the free crematory services.
