UST, La Salle offer free mental health services

The University of Santo Tomas and De La Salle University are offering free mental health services to frontliners and those infected with COVID-19, as well as patients under investigation (PUIs) and persons under monitoring (PUMs).

In separate statements, the two institutions recognized that counseling services are needed by frontliners and patients, who might be battling psychological issues due to the global pandemic.

UST and DLSU offer psycho-educational materials, web seminar sessions and telecounseling services.

The consultants are composed of licensed psychologists, guidance counselors, medical doctors, and other allied health professionals.

The University of the Philippines has also offered free treatment and services for people living with human immunodeficiency virus, as well as free online dental consultations to the public amid the health crisis.
