The Department of Health (DoH) in Central Visayas on Friday disclosed that 96 tests on patients were negative for Covid-19, while those positive remained at 33.
Dr. Jaime Bernadas, DoH-7 Regional Director, said the number of persons under monitoring (PUM) is now down from 14,456 individuals to 7,743 since last week.
Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia disclosed that in four provincial hospitals and 12 district hospitals, there were only two patients admitted with “influenza-like” disease, while 11 more are in home quarantine.
Four persons with severe acute respiratory infections are also confined in the hospitals.
Cebu Province has four positive cases of COVID-19. One each in Mandaue City, Cordova, Talisay and Mandaue City.
Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes in an interview with Daily Tribune, said that two previously positive cases in his city have recovered.
