The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is temporarily implementing a “no back-ride policy” for the duration of the community quarantine imposed over Metro Manila.

The move is being implemented for the safety of residents against the COVID-19 virus and in response to President Rodrigo Duterte’s quarantine directive.

The order will be strictly imposed by all of the city’s police stations — La Loma, Masambong, Talipapa, Novaliches, Fairview, Batasan, Cubao, Project 4, Anonas, Kamuning, Galas and Eastwood.

Cops will be watching and reminding motorcycle drivers of the prohibition against back rides.

The QCPD appeals to the public to abide by the regulation as this will safeguard their safety and others.
