Samsung has reported that all available stocks of its newest smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip, have been sold out during its three-day pre-order period. It said the appeal of the device is that it empowers users to find elegant ways to capture, share and view content.
“All the excitement surrounding the Galaxy Z Flip proved that there is a strong desire for a new mobile experience that offers both style and function,” shares Jerry Mañus, Business Unit Head of IT and Mobile, Samsung Philippines.
The company considers the Galaxy Z Flip as a statement-making foldable device designed for those who see cutting-edge technology as a way to express themselves.
The phone’s folding form highlights seamless continuity with the cover screen, giving users an immersive experience with no interruptions. It is equipped with a new hideaway hinge that ensures every flip and fold is smooth and stable.
When unfolded, the ultra-thin glass technology shows the 6.7” dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex-O Display.
Pre-ordered units will be released starting 21 February 2020. The Galaxy Z Flip is priced at P79,990 and comes in Mirror Black and Mirror Purple variants.
