My favorite idol, the ageless party queen, Tita Nene Leonor, hosted a party in honor of several ladies celebrating their recent birth anniversaries, namely, Dra. Loi Ejercito, Chit Dee, Alice Samson, Brenda Reyes and yours truly.
The venue was her beautiful home where we savored sumptuous dishes for which her kitchen is very well known.
Gosh, this was one party in her home that I did not taste her famous fruit salad. I guess I was busy socializing I forgot it was dessert time.
Anyway, I consoled myself by listening to our friends sing to the accompaniment of the live bands who provided fabulous music that night. As it turned out, the singers had such good voices one would think they were professionals.
I always enjoy partying with Tita Nene because we share so many traits and habits. Aside from being party lovers, we also love to stay awake overnight and sleep only in the morning of the next day.
There would have been more friends that night to join us in our joint birthday party, but we were told they were afraid they might catch the dreaded virus. Well, in my case, I would brave anything just to be able to attend a party hosted by Tita Nene who has the energy of a young woman, she could out-dance anyone.
Thanks so much once again, Tita Nene, for hosting this party in our honor, birthday celebrators. It does mean a lot to us because Tita Nene, like us, really knows how to enjoy life. So, what should I tell you? Enjoy each day because life has so much to offer.
