Man with P1.2-M shabu nabbed at checkpoint

Lawmen collared a man whom they stopped at a police checkpoint put up along C6 road in Barangay Hagonoy, Taguig City on Tuesday afternoon.

Cpl. Aaron Dicang, officer on case, identified the suspect as Darwin Pindaliday, driver, 40, of Kenneth Subdivision, Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.

Elements of Taguig City police led by Capt, Crisanto Agualin conducted the checkpoint along C6 road near the Pumping Station at around 4:30 p.m.

The suspect, who was riding a motorcycle, was flagged down by the policemen manning the checkpoint. When they searched him and his vehicle, they discovered six sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 179.9 grams with an estimated street value of P1,223,320.

PCpl. Alvin Kerby Peñafiel and PCpl. Reynald Domingo immediately arrested the suspect and was brought to the police station for the filing of appropriate charges against him.
