Ten people were hurt – with four of them in critical condition — after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) hit several vehicles outside the Redemptorist Church in Baclaran, Parañaque City the other night.
According to initial investigations, the SUV driver, identified as Allan Respecia, intentionally hit several vehicles and pedestrians at the Gate 2 of the Baclaran Church and was arrested by the police after the incident.
Police reports said that the incident happened around 9:50 p.m. in front of Gate 2 of the Baclaran Church, as the suspect was driving his black Fortuner.
The driver allegedly hit the other involved vehicles and bystanders in the area.
Police also said four of the victims were females and six are males who were all brought to the nearest hospital in the area, while the suspect was taken into custody.
