Parañaque City has launched its own Emergency Operations Center, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) announced.
On Monday, the new facility was unveiled at the new facility through a soft launching ceremony.
The new facility will serve as the main center for all command, control, coordination and communications activities for all hazard incidents in the city.
According to the DRRMO, the establishment of the center aims to provide safety and security to the residents of Parañaque and to show how serious the administration is in achieving its goal of a resilient community towards sustainable development.
The new command center allows easy monitoring of the city with the help of High Standard CCTV Cameras with 360 view situated in every road.
